Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger is either "busy," doesn't care much about clean water aquifers in California or is "indifferent to the truth" and just puts on a show that he is not protecting big oil (see Problem Defined). I have appealed to his office on several occasions and I can not get any proactive action from the Governor other than to shuffle the issue out of his office to the State Water Resources Control Board attorneys, who have been abysmal in even addressing the issue let alone in any way effectively dealing with it. The Water Board attorneys have been acting more in a manner that protects Shell Oil Company than in a manner that protects a California clean water aquifer (see State Water Board). When I brought that fact to Arnold's attention, he summarily ignored it. I voted for him and still want to support him, but what a disappointment he is when it comes to environmental protection. So far, "all talk, no walk." Arnold wants to limit green house gases and save the planet, we applaud that, but if the Governor can't clean up a single environmental problem at a single service station in California, only 33 yards away from a clean water aquifer, what does that say about Arnold Schwarzenegger? Someone needs to ask Arnold that question. In fact, a few thousand faxes and emails asking Arnold that question wouldn't hurt. Please fax and/or email him.

Correspondence File

The Governor colluded with Shell Oil, via the California State Water Resources Control Board, by willfully hiding the fact that Shell did a GPR test when I was demanding the Governor request one. The Governor and the Water Board attempted to protect Shell Oil from the Texaco Problem and the public disclosure of Shell's mass sell off of its stations as this author was the only one raising those issues.

That is the reason SeeitReal.com was created. To disseminate the truth and hold public officials accountable for their actions or inaction. The file of correspondence with the Governor's Office is available here. It is not a mistake that there are no replies from Arnold Schwarzenegger. There are none. At no time did the Governor or the Water Board ever seek a definitive test. It was only the Riverside District Attorney that threw a "lifeline of truth" to this issue that kept it alive (see District Attorney). It wasn't until August 27, 2007 that independent verification of SeeitReal.com claims of incompetance of the California State Water Control Board was independently verified by a California Senator facing the same problem with Shell Oil and the local and state California Water Boards (see Voluntary Compliance).
